Most of all we would like your West Coast sailing adventure to be a fun and rewarding experience that you will treasure for the rest of your life…

Therefore it’s quite important to be realistic about what can be achieved in the space of a few days or a couple of weeks. It’s very likely that you will leave a busy, hectic, life style behind – this is just the way it is.

So bearing this in mind, there are a number of options that are available or could be available if there is sufficient demand:

• Bare Boat Charter – Alba Sailing provide the boat and you provide the skipper. This option gives you the freedom to do exactly what you would like. You must possess at least an RYA Coastal Skipper Certificate or demonstrate the equivalent experience. Alba Sailing can provide examples of exactly what they are and what they are not looking for.

• Skippered Charter – Alba Sailing provide the boat and a qualified RYA Skipper with specialised experience of the area. Again there are different variants of this option that Alba Sailing is happy to explain.

• RYA Training – Alba Sailing provide first class RYA Training and Coaching to develop your confidence handling Pollyanna in the area. There is an option to Bare Boat Charter, assuming the designated Charter Skipper demonstrates the required level of experience.
